Cassia has always had complete trust in the Society to make decisions for her, but when she is being paired with her ideal mate, a second face flashes on the screen, and Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility as she tries to decide which man she truly loves.
I am about half way into this book and i love it. My favorite part so far is when she is in the woods and she is reading the poems. I hate how in their society they only can do certain things. I feel bad for them. I wish that someone would try to break free from the officals.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you! It is very cruel and unfair that they have to not have any freedom. I think that they should have been able to at least read whatever they wanted to. If you liked this book though I would recommend the second one!
DeleteThis book is one of my favorites. I think that the plot was very good ,and it was very thought out. I could not put the book down. I loved it! Cassia, the main character, was my favorite. She was very headstrong and outspoken.
ReplyDeleteI agree I couldn't put the book down either. I thought Ky was my favorite though.
DeleteI agree! Cassia was very intelligent, and she seem to know what to do through every problem she faced.
Deleteeveryone is talking about this!! I want to read it so bad! people have been saying there is a twist and I want o find out what It is!!!
DeleteI have been wanted to read this book for a while now. Everyone is saying this a really good book. In my opinion this sounds like the book " Among the Hidden and " Harrison Bergeron". I cant wait to read this book!
DeleteI thought this book was really good. I couldn't seem to put it Down. One of my favorite things about the book is the live triangle. However I thought the government was a little twisted. Overall it was a great book!
ReplyDeleteI've read this book before and both times I thought it was a little too "lovey dovey" and lacked the adventure component that many dystopian literature books have. I did appreciate a new view of future America BESIDES ZOMBIES.
ReplyDeleteI agree that this book was way too "lovey dovey." I think that it did lack the adventure component that makes dystopian literature so compelling to me. I read this book last year, and I found Cassia to be EXTREMELY annoying. There weren't enough plot twists to keep me interested enough to read the rest of the series.
DeleteThis book's interesting plot interested me to keep reading throughout the book. The only thing that I found completely predictable was the outcome of the love triangle between Cassia, Ky, and Xander. The society's complex and unusual details were interesting; they kept me wanting to figure out more! I reccommend that anyone who has an interest in dystopian literature read this book. I liked it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with H6Roach. I liked this book, too. I predicted Cassia would have to choose between Ky and Xander.
DeleteMatched is a must read. When I started reading it was hard to put the book down. This is my favorite book for the reading program
ReplyDeleteI agree. I cant wait to read the rest of the series
DeleteThis book was good, but not my favorite of the series.
ReplyDeleteI cant wait to get my hands on this book!!! everyone I know is telling me is the best. I am excited about reading it for myself to see if its really is that good.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100%. when I first started reading this book I hated it. I was very close to turning it in. I"m glad I didn't though. I think if you can get to the end of the book you will be glad you read it!
DeleteI thought Matched was a very good book. I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the sequel was not as good and it seemed like it was just a repeat over, and over again. Matched is a very good read and I would recommend it to anyone who likes romance novels. The author did a very good job with it.
ReplyDeletei loved the book. i felt like i was in it the whole time. the plot was wonderful and the characters were nice. i love the description given througout the story.
ReplyDeletei've got to ask,TEAM XANDER OR TEAM KY?
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure, N1Moore. They're both great. It's too hard to decide!!! Ugh...
DeleteI really can't say. What about N1Moore who do you go for TEAM XANDER OR TEAM KY?
DeleteMatched kept me from putting the book down, for once. I never had liked a book this much. I actually stay up till midnight just to read it.
ReplyDeleteI havent read this book yet but im really looking forward to. The cover and summary are really good. I have read a few pages but havent really been able to get into the book that much. I hope that it is as good as i think it is. I cant wait till i get to read it.
ReplyDeleteYou should really read it. It is a great book it starts out boring but turns in to a great book.Hope you like it like I did.
DeleteI agree with most people in the comments. Matched is a must read and I'm looking forward to finishing the series! i couldn't put this book down till I was done and I recoomend this book for everyone who likes distopian literature.
ReplyDeleteI so agree with that it is so going to be a great series.
DeleteI personally didn't like this book I actually put it down a few times because it didn't really interest me that much I do recommend this book to a few girls that I know that I think would be interested..
ReplyDeleteI absolutly loved this book! When I was in fifth grade I tried to read it but I never really got into it. The beginning was a little boring but overall it was a great book. Ky was my favorite in the book. I would totally recommend this book to everyone who likes dystopian literature. Its a must read; I loved it!
ReplyDeleteI agree. This book was good. One of the best.
DeleteThis book is my absolute favorite so far. I love dystopian literature! I just hate the way their society runs things.
ReplyDeleteI liked this book. It was my first time reading it, and I enjoyed it. This book was interesting. I'm about to start reading the second book out of the series. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read dystopian literature.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this book a lot, though I think the author should have added more exciting and adventure in the book and less romance. Overall I think it is a good book for people who like romance.
ReplyDeleteI thought this was an excellent book. I really love all the twists in this book. And i really look forward to reading the sequel. Although some have said they weren't good.
ReplyDeleteThis book is a classic dystopian literature. It has the components that each one attracts manhy readers with. I was looking forward to reading it, and I was only partially disappointed. The main character struck me as a bit annoying, and I could never bring myself to fully like her as a person. However, the setting was amazingly described; that was very interesting for me.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I would like this book but it was very interesting. I hate how they can't choose stuff there selves.I wouldn't be able to live that way. I feel really bad for them. It reminds me a little of the short story "Harrison Bergeron " that we read in class.
ReplyDeleteThis was such a great book! I really want the second one now. Have to find out what happens!!! Such a cliff hanger!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with most comments on this book. That this is a must read book! It is a great book on how you just have to make decisions in life.
ReplyDeleteThis book was absolutely amazing! It made me think a lot about how we are lucky to have the freedom that we have. Instead of everything we do being controlled by someone else instead of ourselves. It was sorta boring towards the beginning, but got better as the story progressed.I can't wait to read the next book! I recommend this book!
ReplyDeleteI loved this book.it is the best book I've read in the program so far.i have to say that it needed a little more action and adventure to it. i do recommend this book to everyone.
ReplyDeleteThis book was probably one of my favorites. The twist blew my mind! I would read this again and again!!!
ReplyDeleteThe twist blew my mind I can't believe that happened! I really loved this book. I can't wait to read her other bookss!!!
