  5. I found that this book is quite enjoyable and a nice, quick read. However, I thought that the vocabulary was that of a younger age group and I grew tired of the common words.

    1. I disagree. I thought the ending was extremely predictable, not that i would have liked to see them die or anything, but maybe a twist would have switched up the ending. I could tell what the ending was going to be as soon as Amy and Kendra were together, and I had trouble finishing for that reason.

  8. This book is not what I expected. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I have read some of Peg Kehret's other books, and this one was definitely not as interesting as those were. The plot moved so slowly that I had trouble finishing the book. I also had trouble trying to put myself in the main character's position. I might have liked this book more if we were given more information about who Amy was as a person.

  16. I agree with you in terms of the plots and character description. I believe that Kendra was given a bit too much time for description, and Amy wasn't given enough. The plot moved fairly fast in the beginning, enough to grab the reader's attention, I suppose, and then made a steady decline throughout the book.

  17. I read this book as my first one because the book really caught my eye. I enjoyed the humor placed cleverly throughout the plot and the settings were described very well. I like that Amy is headstrong and attempts to keep in control of her surroundings.
