  1. I just started reading the book Taste of Red and it is amazing. One thing I like about the book is that the girl (Svetlana) believes that her and her science teach are going to be good friends. Later on the meets a lady she calls mrs. Bones. Together they find out something interesting about the science teacher Mrs. Larch. I feel something good is soon going to happen. If you get a chance I recommend that you read it.

    1. I just started this book, but I agree with you. Some parts in the book are okay. Some parts in the book are very funny tough! I think this book will have an unexpected ending. I can't wait to read more!

    2. Based on your comment I'm kind of glad that I haven't read this book. I know they say "don't judge a book by it's cover", but just looking at the picture I could tell it was a little weird. Some of my favorites in 7th Grade Sizzlers are "Anything But Typical" and "If the Witness Lied" if you are still looking for some decent books.

  5. A Taste For Red is an okay book and it has a good mystery type genre to it. I don't think it was very good, but it was worth reading atleast. I think only some people would find this book actually good. I don't think the red apples thing was necessary honestly. Yet, it could've been better, I still kinda like how the book is so far.

  8. I just finished the A Taste For Red. I loved it! I thought it was crazy how the old lady (Mrs.Bones) feel out of the tree house. My favorite part was at the end when Svetlana and her friends went to Mrs.Larch's house. I am not allowed to tell you what happens but all I can say is that I highly recommend this book! I couldn't put this book down.

  9. I think this was a okay book. I think the whole thing about her being a vampire was odd. I think only eating red foods, sleeping under her bed, and reading people's mind was just weird. I think this a good supense kind of book.

  11. I just started this book, and it seems interesting so far! I just can't wait until I get further into the book because it's going really slow so far... It seems like a good book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes vampire books.

  12. I personally think this was a great book. It kept making me want to read more and more. I could not keep my eyes off this book. It was very detailed, and used lots of figurative language. I really enjoyed this book.
